Amy Hoffman has been a children's clothing and accessories sales rep
carrying better, contemporary lines in the New York metropolitan area since 1989. She covers New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennslyvania along with her associate (and twin sister) Nancy Markert. Although they are mostly on the road, they also work out of a showroom at 34 W. 33rd Street in New York  by appointment. Amy is lucky to have been both on the buying end and the selling end of the wholesale/retail business, giving her a complete understanding of how businesses operate. Before her career in the children's industry, Amy worked for Merona Sport as a merchandise manager in the men's division. She worked in conjunction with the design department and sales to develop the line each season. After her first daughter was born, she worked for Merona Sport as a consultant for the kids division. Her repping career began when her sister, Nancy needed help at the trade shows. It was only natural to join her team- they are not partners but do carry the same lines in adjoining territories. Being on the road is where Amy loves it best. She is able to see what each store is all about and able to direct her customers to select the best merchandise for their type of store. In addition, from being in the stores, she can see where there is a void and fill her stores in with basics that they need and might otherwise forget about.
